Four men, one calling: To serve and protect. As law enforcement officers, Adam Mitchell, Nathan Hayes,
David Thomson, and Shane Fuller are confident and focused. Yet at the end of the day, they face a
challenge that none of them are truly prepared to tackle: fatherhood. When tragedy hits home, these
men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith, and their fathering. Can a newfound
urgency help these dads draw closer to God ... and to their children? Protecting the streets is second
nature to these men. Raising their children in a God-honoring way? That's courageous.
Free popcorn and bottled water will be provided.
Free childcare will be provided.

"Anyone who puts his hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the kingdom of God."
Luke 9:6
Have you ever had a church softball team where in April, you had thirty people show up, eager to play softball and get some excercise? "We're going to have a great team this year, ler's get on with the games," they say. And then, by the middle of May or the beginning of June, you are fortunate to have ten people show up to play softball.
The same can also be true in the Church, as you have people that may want to teach a class or do volunteer work around the church building or work in the nursery, etc. They want to be used and get active, but when the real work starts, their passion begins to wayne and their commitment begins to fail. What seemed exciting at first now seems like a chore.
But with accepting a task comes commitment, dedication and accountability. Whether that task is helping in the Church of following Jesus Christ. Both take an unwavering commitment. Jesus Christ must always be first. Our dedication to God and the Church takes commitment and sacrifice. Our salvation is free, but our walk with Jesus Christ and His Church, will cost us. It will involve sacrifice. If you put your hand to a task, don't start looking in a different direction until you have completed what you said you would do. Amen! Right? Amen!
